Lefebvre Sarrut improves its EcoVadis score
Paris La Défense, June 2024 – Lefebvre Sarrut, the European leader in legal and tax knowledge, has improved its EcoVadis score with 58/100 in 2024, or 6 points more than in 2023. With this new assessment, Lefebvre Sarrut ranks among the top 35% of companies for sustainability performance and maintains an EcoVadis Bronze medal.
To achieve this higher overall score, Lefebvre Sarrut obtained higher-than-average scores for companies in its sector across the four EcoVadis categories:
- 60/100 for the environment
- 60/100 for labour and human rights
- 70/100 for ethics
- 40/100 for sustainable procurement
To further improve its score in 2025, Lefebvre Sarrut will be focusing in particular on sustainable procurement and has introduced an ambitious plan to standardize and reinforce practices across the group.
Commenting on the news, Camille Sztejnhorn, Lefebvre Sarrut’s ESG Impact Director, said, “Our improved EcoVadis score is the result of consistent effort by all our stakeholders: family shareholders, employees, clients, partners, suppliers and authors. We’re proud of our progress to date and we’re keen to go further, which is why we’re focusing our expertise and energy on taking even more virtuous action.”
Since EcoVadis launched its sustainability assessment system in 2007, it has become a globally recognized indicator of quality in corporate sustainability management systems, based on policies, actions and results. This certification is important for reassuring stakeholders, particularly employees, clients and investors who prefer to work with responsible organisations. As a family-owned company, Lefebvfe Sarrut is subject to less reporting regulation than listed companies, but has made a clear commitment to providing access to precise information on its sustainability strategy, in line with its purpose of “activating knowledge for a fairer, more efficient and sustainable society.”
