Lefebvre Sarrut publishes its 2023 ESG Report

Paris La Défense, 27 August 2024 –

Lefebvre Sarrut, the European leader in tax and fiscal knowledge, has published its 2023 ESG (environmental, social and governance) Report. While presenting the Group’s commitments and actions, the report also provides an overview of its ESG policy for improving its impact over the next few years.

Five commitments underpinning Lefebvre Sarrut’s purpose

In line with its purpose of “enabling knowledge for a fairer, more efficient and sustainable society;” Lefebvre Sarrut has organized its ESG contribution around five commitments, which day to day unite its stakeholders, including employees, clients, family shareholders and partners.

The five commitments are:

  1. To guarantee access to the law, with 34 million unique users of Lefebvre Sarrut services in 2023, up 2 million compared to 2022
  2. To keep customers one step ahead through innovation with the deployment of GenIA-L, the first European generative AI solution to exclusively use verified and up-to-date legal content produced by Lefebvre Sarrut and its local brands for legal, tax and accounting professionals
  3. To help our ecosystem comply with regulation, including Europe’s CSRD, by using Lefebvre Sarrut’s ESG platform. This comprehensive solution offers users all the information, training and tools they need to understand the challenges of ESG compliance and develop a differentiating ESG strategy.
  4. To provide employees with a stimulating, motivating and innovative work environment, with actions to promote employee innovation, such as InnovAction and the LightSpeed Hackathon, as well as a secure generative AI tool, Jack GPT.
  5. To help build a more sustainable world, by deploying our first actions after our first carbon assessment in 2022. In 2023, the Lefebvre Sarrut teams continued to reduce the impact of their direct activities and collaborated with the Group’s suppliers for a better understanding of the impact of indirect activities, especially through these companies’ own carbon assessments. Lefebvre Sarrut’s aim is to support its ecosystem in the move to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach.

In 2023, these five commitments were demonstrated in various action by Lefebvre Sarrut and its local brands: Lefebvre Dalloz (France), SDU (Netherlands), Lefebvre (Spain), Giuffrès Francis Lefebvre (Italy), Larcier-Intersentia (Belgium, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom) and Stollfuß and Juris (Germany).
